How to Fit Your Snowboard Helmet Like a Pro
If you are out shredding the slopes, it's critical that you have the right gear. Not only do you need the right gear you need to be sure it fits!

You've just bought your first snowboard helmet and you're pumped to hit the slopes. But before you can enjoy the fresh powder, you need to make sure your helmet fits properly. Here's a quick guide on how to do just that.
- First, take a look at the sizing chart for the helmet you've purchased. If you're between sizes, it's always better to go with the larger size.
- Once you've got your helmet on, adjust the straps so that they're snug but not too tight. You should be able to fit two fingers between the strap and your chin.
- The next step is to adjust the dial at the back of the helmet. This will ensure that the helmet is tight enough to stay on in case of a fall but not so tight that it's uncomfortable.
- Last but not least, give the helmet a good shake. If it moves around on your head, it's too loose and you'll need to start from step 2 again.
There you have it! Now you know how to fit your snowboard helmet like a pro. Just remember to take your time and adjust the straps until they're snug but not too tight. And if you're ever in doubt, go with the larger size. Happy snowboarding!
